11 chilling pictures of cannibal corpses from Varanasi

The Italian photographer Cristiano Ostinelli, apparently, is a very brave man, after learning about the hermits of the Aghori - the holy cannibals, corpses-eaters - he went to their habitats, in the Indian city of Varanasi, to get to know these extraordinary people better. Hindus say that Aghors live where they cremate the dead, meditate among their bodies and feed on their flesh. And all this in his free time from terrible ritual rites and curses. Well, the main goal of these faithful worshipers of the god Shiva is, of course, spiritual enlightenment.

Thanks to the courageous act of the Italian, we can also look at the Indian outcast, but, fortunately, only in the photographs.
