Dalton Highway: America's Northernmost and Most Exquisite Road

The Dalton Highway in the United States connects the city of Fairbanks and Alaska's tank farm. This is the most northern highway of America with a length of 660 kilometers.

Even 30 years ago, the road was closed to cars, there were only trucks from oil companies.

But now it attracts many tourists who are fascinated by the incredible expanses and landscapes of the north.

You can’t call on a cell phone here, and there’s trouble with the Internet, but it’s so beautiful!

"You came to the fucking north", - it is written on the oil pipeline.

This is a local campsite. It looks scary, but it's warm inside.

Finally, you can make a call! The wall behind the phones is a separate spectacular sight. Hieroglyphs interfere with English, we see many declarations of love.

Broken transport is simply left on the road.

And then they go on foot, enjoying the summer landscape.

But in winter, the highway is covered with a crust of ice, there are many potholes on it, so only trucks can ride comfortably.

In summer, the north is full of flowers and numerous insects.

And of course, animals.

Gravel road among the mountains.

Brooks is a mountain range beyond the Arctic Circle.

Strong morning mists.

The journey along the Dalton Highway came to an end.

Next is the Arctic Ocean.
