Australian wonderland park where you feel like you’re in a fairy tale

Australia is a country and continent isolated from the rest of the world. It is here that it seems possible to face miracles. And they really are here! In the southeast of the country, in the small town of Marysville, the sculptor Bruno Torfs settled. He began work on his large-scale project, the Sculpture Garden. Each composition he created is full of life and meaning that remind of the transience of time, of the unity of man with nature.

Some sculptures are made so unusual that it seems like these are the roots of a tree, so intricately carved by nature itself.

The sculptor was born in South America, but traveled a lot since childhood. He saw many cities and villages during his life, but once, having been to Australia, he decided to stay there. Having bought a plot of land with a forest, he began work on creating a fabulous park.

After six months of continuous work, the sculptor opened the park to visitors.

At first it was a small magical park, there were only 15 sculptural compositions at that time. But each was so expressive and atmospheric that over time this park became a national treasure.

Now there are already about two hundred sculptures made of baked clay.

The basis for embodiment is often cult or religious subjects.

The small town annually receives thousands of tourists who come to visit the wonderland. And for the author the greatest pleasure is when his work brings joy to others.

However, one cannot fail to mention that there were difficult times for the park and its creator. In 2009, there was a wave of devastating fires in Australia, from which the Wonderland Park was badly damaged.

But Bruno did not abandon his venture, he was inspired by the thought of the joy of people who plunged into a fairy tale. He spent a lot of money on the restoration of the garden of miracles, and now the place is again open and receives guests, immersing them in the world of dreams and legends.
