Meditative landscapes reflecting the calming beauty of silence

Inspired by "his own vision of landscapes," Samir Belhamra recreates amazing scenes in which he skillfully mixes reality with fantasy. The artist and photographer, who lives in southern France, does not lack magnificent views - from the azure shores to lavender fields. Capturing all this fantastic beauty, he creates an imaginary world in which tranquility reigns and the charm of silence reigns.

Like other projects of Belhamra, Smell of Silence combines the author’s passion for photography and his digital skills. Combining this, the artist is able to create dreamy, surreal landscapes based on reality. Using the works from this series, Samir shows us how he sees silence by visualizing this concept.

To convey the silence in the picture as accurately as possible, Belhamra creates landscapes devoid of human presence and all movement in general.
