19 giant flower sculptures in honor of Van Gogh. This is a real brain explosion!
This year, at the traditional flower parade in Sündert, they paid tribute to the legendary Vincent Van Gogh, creating imaginative sculptures inspired by his work. The famous post-impressionist was born in Zündert (Netherlands) 162 years ago. As a rule, this parade, which is the largest flower procession in the world, is organized by volunteers and uses exclusively dahlias.
“In Sündert, in the south of the Netherlands, we are obsessed with our flower parade,” the event’s official website says. “Our grandparents started this business in 1936, but we still don’t get tired. We look forward to the first Sunday of September. "Will the moving sculptures be completed on time? Will the dahlia be enough? And who will win this time?"
